This theory says that there is more behind Nickelodeon’s Rugrats besides being a cute show for little kids to watch. In fact, some people are saying that the show has this whole psychological meaning behind it centering around Angelica having a psychotic break at the age of 3 after having too many traumatic accidents happen in her family at such a young age.
- All of the rugrats are a figment of Angelica’s imagination. Now that’s not so horrible by itself, but then we learn why Angelica made them up.
- Chuckie died with his mother in childbirth. This is why his dad is always so worried about him in the show.
- Tommy was stillborn, making his dad have some kind of break and sit in the basement to make toys for the son he was supposed to have.
- The DeVilles had an abortion. Angelica never found out if the baby was supposed to be a boy or a girl so she decided to make it twins. Then, she gave them matching names and personas because there probably would have been only one child if there was no abortion.
- The reason behind these delusions have been blamed on Angelica’s nonexistent relationship with her mother and her manipulative one with her father. Thus, Angelica had no one to turn to when she needed help dealing with the babies’ deaths and resorted to making up the lives they should have lived.
In All Grown Up, Angelica is a bipolar schizophrenic addicted to narcotics and heroin because they help her keep her delusions alive. At this point, we learn that Angelica’s biological mom died from a heroin overdose and Angelica’s disease because she’s a crack baby. Her real mom’s name was Cynthia, hence her doll’s name. The woman from “Rugrats” who was Angelica’s mother is really her gold-digging step-mom who Angelica idolized.
When “All Grown Up” was canceled, Angelica died of an overdose just like her mother.
Dil is the only baby who isn’t fictional. However, Angelica never accepted him as being real and accidentally hit him too hard while trying to make him go away once, resulting in brain damage. This is why he’s such an odd child in “All Grown Up.”
Suzie was actually Angelica’s friend. The theory says that she grew up to become a psychologist and joined the Nickelodeon team to invent the “Rugrats” TV show, finally explaining the origin of the theory.I remember reading this a long time ago, and it still blows my fucking mind.

I actually never liked watching this show..but now that I’ve read the origin of this story….WOW! I think I’m gonna watch me some Rugrats now..

When I realized that I had only a few more chapters to go, I decided to take it slowly with reading because I read from a lot of people on tumblr that it has a pretty nasty cliff hanger ending..and they weren’t kidding when they said that! OMG! I just can’t handle my emotions right now! T______T I’ll make a review on it sometime this weekend.. I’m gonna re-read the whole book again because I can’t get over it! I still have to wait one more year to find out what happens next! ASFDSJAFGKSFSK!!!!!! T__________T
I just can’t believe this..
Pinoys all over the world, “NAGWALA”(went crazy) because Jessica Sanchez didn’t win?! spreading letters that say “Jessica has been ROBBED”?!
WOW! I didn’t recall Jessica being bitter about it..she even hugged Phillip and congratulated him! Now, she is a good sport..most of her fans aren’t.. mygosh! This is RIDICULOUS! I can’t even..wow!
Get OVER IT! She’s still gonna be a great singer and she HAS a great career in the music industry ahead of her WITH or WITHOUT Idol..sheesh..Why don’t they just keep on supporting her instead of staying so bitter?! All that hate towards Phillip ain’t gonna make her famous y’know! At least not the way we would want her to be!
And I personally think that by her not winning American Idol, pushes her to work even harder for her dreams to come true.. no it didn’t defeat her; no she didn’t lose..this will only make her stronger..I love her and I’ll be always supporting her and keep on track with her journey towards her goal..
I mean, look at David Archuleta..he didn’t win Idol either, did he? But he released albums as well; he had his own world tours as well; he was on TV shows as well. Adam Lambert..did he win Idol? No. Did he make music and release his albums? Yes. They didn’t need to win Idol to achieve what they have in the music business..Idol was kind of a Stepping Stone for them..and so is it for Jessica Sanchez. She WILL sing on the stage; she WILL make her own music; she WILL release her own albums. This isn’t the last we’ve seen of her, trust me!
I’m just so sick of people bashing on Phillip and the other contestants and blame them for Jessica’s coming-in-second.. I mean I get that her fans and supporters were upset and sad..I was kinda sad too because I was really rooting for her..but America chose Phillip, and Phillip is freaking talented, he’s a freaking artist and they both deserved to win if only it would’ve been possible to have two winners.. but all this is just getting - and I say it again - RIDICULOUS!!!!! STOP IT! I’m sure not all her supporters and fans act like that but to those who do PUH-LEASE! It’s ridiculous! I am Filipina too but I love Jessica because of her beautiful talent, and her being half Filipina - again- is just a bonus! We should love her for her talent, not her ethnicity.
I know I have been ranting since yesterday, and there are millions of other rants on the internet, let alone here on tumblr..but I just wanted to put my two cents in it too..

So, I have been a huge Jessica Sanchez fan ever since this season started.. and I really really, REALLY wanted her to win..but Phillip is massively talented too and he deserved to win as much as Jessica deserved it. I loved Jessica because of her talent, the fact that she is half Filipina is just a bonus..and everyone here in the Philippines was rooting for her all the way.. most of them are freaking disappointed right now I’m sure..but I guess there’s a lesson to learn too..Next time a Filipino/Filipina gets on American Idol, let’s be a SPORT! Let’s support them but I BEG you, DO NOT BASH, TRASH, and INSULT the other contestants because everyone’s unique :)
Ultimately, I’m still proud of Jessica..she never gave up and I’m sure she’ll continue to pursue her dreams..Record labels are already waiting for her I’m sure :)
In the end, they are both WINNERS! :)
